With Major League Baseball having started this week here in the States does anyone else have a favorite team? What other sports do you follow?

For me, I'm a Red Sox fan. I was never a baseball fan when I was younger, but I lived in Boston when I was first married, and my mother in-law is a huge Red Sox fan, so it grew on me over time.

I haven't really watched baseball very much in over 30 years, but still consider myself a Cincinnati Reds fan going back to around 1973 and 1974, I think it was, when the Reds faced off against the Boston Red Sox in the World Series.

Old Luis Tiant, I think that the pitcher for the Red Sox was back then. Man, he was like a bane of the Reds out on the mound. He's the only Red Sox player still etched into my memory. He was a Hell of a pitcher, though.
